Amber Melendy, RYT

Amber Melendy, RYT

Amber is dedicated to a warm, open and loving environment that helps people tune into their highest self. “Yoga is for every BODY. I hope to inspire others to connect deeply to their heart center. When we connect to our heart, we inevitably become aware and reverent for well-being, as well as all living beings.”

Through the integration of pranayama (breathwork), asanas (postures), relaxation, teaching of yamas and niyamas (yoga ethics), and positive themes, she is able to give people a true mind-body-spirit experience. Amber creates a peaceful space that helps people achieve a healthier state of existence. She encourages all people in OurLando to shine their own light and walk their own path towards healing, harmony and happiness.

Amber is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance. She has attended Sivananda, Ashtanga and Kundalini teacher trainings. She studied with Janice Clarfield and is a certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor. She is currently working towards an Anusara Teacher Certification and studies with Sri Ekan, Certified Anusara Teacher. She is inspired by many great teachers including Sri Ekan and Nirgunavathi, John Friend, Paramahamsa Nithayananda, Swami Sivananda, Vishnu-Devananda, Yogi Bhajan and many more.

Kate Levinson

Kate is a gifted teacher, visionary, playshop and retreat leader, angelic channel, abundance coach, author of 30 Days to Abundance and Prosperity and a yoga/meditation teacher. Since 1985 she has helped thousands of people awaken their Spirit. In addition to being a KRI certified yoga/meditation teacher, Kate is an Intuitive and Angel Therapy Practitioner® and Medium certified by Doreen Virtue, a Sacred Contract Consultant certified by Caroline Myss and a Past Life Regressionist certified by Brian Weiss. Kate belongs to the yoga associations IKYTA and 3HO.

Kate began her yoga journey when she was eighteen. A long time hatha teacher, specializing in Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Kundalini has been Kate’s private practice for many years. She has now made her commitment, received her kundalini name, Ad Sach Kaur, and is dedicating herself to bringing her “yoga heart” kundalini to her students teaching others the amazing energy technology of kundalini yoga.

Kate’s classes are spiritually powerful as she guides you through. Her classes include pranayama (breath work), mantra (chanting), kriyas (movement), mudra (hand positions), and meditation. Kate believes that as Spiritual Beings we are connected to the whole of life, it’s rythms and cycles. Any class might find her talking about cycles of the moon, what’s happening astrologically or giving energetic explanations for world happenings and events.
As Kate says. “I began my yoga journey when I was eighteen and although I was a Hatha teacher for many years, Kundalini has been my personal practice. Unlike other yoga styles Kundalini accelerates our awakenings. As the energetics of our planet are shifting so quickly, we too, as energetic beings, are shifting vibrationally. Kundalini yoga is the perfect technology for moving us into the vibrations of the Aquarian Age.

It is perfect for our shifting times. It’s so much more - the breath, movement and chants are such amazing tools to really bring us to our soul, quickly. I believe it is through living our soul that we truly become the manifestation of who we are; we are Living Soul Beings. We are loving. We are the peacemakers.”

After setting foot on this planet and exploring a bit, he found Kundalini Yoga resonated deep in his core.  Syncronizing breathe and movement, mantras and meditation, Kundalini Yoga raises one’s energy and balances the chakaras. If you don’t know what chakara’s are or Kundalini Yoga, come experience his fun and energetic class.  Stretch yourself a bit, breath and have some fun. Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness.  There will be an eclectic choice of music played in his classes.

Shari Masters

Shari took her first yoga class from a friend a few years ago who had recently completed her teacher training and immediately fell in love with yoga. Although her body shape had begun to change and her strength and flexibility increased, as a busy working mother of three children it was the inner peace, the quieting of the mental chatter and the self acceptance that compelled her to continue her practice. “For me yoga is a powerful tool for self transformation. It taught me to quiet the mental chatter (or monkey mind) that I heard most of my waking moments, to accept myself and my body right where I was today, and then by doing so, to experience that deep sense of peace and joy. I believe my yoga practice has had a direct effect on how I am as a wife and a mother and now that my girls are teenagers and my son is 10, yoga and meditation help me to stay in the present moment where I can be a kind, gentle, compassionate woman, wife and mother.”

Shari took her passion for yoga to the next level in 2006 by leaving the corporate world to complete her teacher training with Jeannie Laslo, in order to share the power and transformational magic of yoga with others. So that they, especially parents with all the demands of raising a family in todays world, could also experience the self-acceptance, peace and joy and be able to instill that in their families as well.

She considers it a gift and a blessing to teach yoga especially those who have never experienced a yoga class and to be a part of her students awakening. Every class will focus equally on pranayama or breath work, the asanas or physical postures, mediation and relaxation.
